Kate is Co Chief Executive Officer at St Helena Hospice in Colchester.  She spent over 25 years of her career working in the commercial world, starting her career with PricewaterHouseCooper and Deloitte, before moving into commercial property and then leading a successful management consultancy for 12 years, before joining St Helena in 2022.  Her commitment to St Helena is to create an organisation that can sustainably fund its amazing clinical and care services itself and is not reliant on NHS grant uplifts.

St Helena is a charity which delivers high quality palliative and end-of-life care to over 3,500 people in North East Essex annually.  It is primarily funded through the 4 commercial businesses that it operates, alongside a large fundraising function.  It generates c£25 million income annually and has an employee-base of 480 staff and 920 volunteers.
